What happens when good intelligence changes the course of history?

Join us for an engaging look at the past, present, and future of American intelligence with David Yuers, a retired U.S. Air Force field-grade intelligence officer with 40 years of military service and more than 25 years in intelligence.

Yuers will examine key moments in American history when good intelligence mattered, how the nature of America's adversaries has changed, and what he sees emerging in the future.

His presentation will explore the evolution of warfare—from Fourth and Fifth Generation Warfare (4GW/5GW) and drones to Artificial Superintelligence.

Yuers deployed to Egypt, Germany, Turkey, Kuwait, Romania, Iraq, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Djibouti, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science from Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base.

David Yuers has lived in Walnut Creek for more than 25 years and continues to write and speak on military strategy, national security, and the changing character of warfare.
