RedState Conservative News, Managing Editor, Jennifer Van Laar

Jennifer Van Laar is one of the country’s leading investigative journalists and Managing Editor of RedState.com. Prior to joining RedState in 2016, she was the Director of Communications and Outreach for Firearms Policy Coalition, worked as a messaging strategist for political candidates, and was a court stenographer in North Carolina for 20 years (experience she believes was foundational for her current career). In addition to breaking the story of former Rep. Katie Hill’s sexual and emotional abuse of her staff, Jennifer’s exclusive stories include Gavin Newsom’s “gifted” mansion and chronically delinquent property taxes, Rep. Ted Lieu’s creative uses for donor dollars, the defection of Dong Jingwei, the head of counterintelligence for the CCP, and the Hunter Biden dossier.

And, of particular interest in Contra Costa County, Jennifer wrote an exclusive series on Soros DA Diana Becton’s attempts to dismantle the county’s criminal justice system.

In spite of the current political climate, Jennifer believes that her native California is worth fighting for and can be saved – and that 2022 is the year that major strides can be made.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in 2016 (after taking 24 years off to raise a family) and is the mother of three boys and grandmother of one gorgeous girl.

MDRC_Tips_for_Change_Flyer.pngOnce again, Mt Diablo Republican Club is conducting its annual Tips for Change fundraiser on Monday, March 21st at Gianni’s Italian Bistro in San Ramon.  Although the event last year only allowed take-out food in support of this fundraiser, this year we will be offering both dine-in and take-out options which will increase our ability to raise more money this time we hold the event.

    https://giannissanramon.com

It is a very simple way to earn money for our Club through the generosity of Gianni’s.  The restaurant will provide our club with 10% of the food and beverages that are ordered that night as well as any tips that are provided.

You can receive a fabulously delicious meal and not have to cook, and still support this fundraiser.  So put this date on your calendar, and make sure to place your reservation or order soon!

And if you are interested in assisting as a server, please contact Norma Spencer at [email protected] for details as to how you can help!

Note: We have also included an opportunity to provide your tip online if you are not able to attend the event and still wish to participate in this fundraiser.

Thank you in advance for your support of this wonderful local restaurant and our club!
Please help our Mt Diablo Republican Club make this a very successful fundraiser by your participation!
