Arguably, the balance of power in world politics currently turns on the Ukrainian fight for freedom against Russian aggression. For over a year the Ukrainians have been fighting for their very survival as a nation-state against a terrorizing neighbor. The West has been sending military aid, but is it enough?

Oleksii Chuiko, a native of Kyiv and a graduate of Cal, is an authority on the current conflict as well as a leading spokesman for the Ukrainian diaspora in California. During his 16 years in the United States, Oleksii has actively taken part in community, non-profit and political causes, but nothing is closer to his heart than defending the freedom of his motherland.

    Check-in: 6:00pm | Speaker Begins: 7:15pm | Dinner served: 6:35pm.

MDRC_Event_Flyer_August_2023.pngBack to School - Back to Indoctrination Camp

Mike Arata is a local resident who cares deeply for our children and community. Graduating from the University of Cincinnati with high honors, he taught high school chemistry and coached swimming for twenty years in the Cincinnati area, producing multiple statewide team championships in both disciplines. He became a political activist in 1981 after observing the violent behavior of teachers who went on strike in his district.

Mike arrived in California in 1989 to become the Head Age Group Coach at world-renowned Santa Clara Swim Club. As a result of his leadership, three Far Western Regional team championships in the three seasons were achieved. In 1991, he left academia to work in industrial water treatment, eventually serving some of the Bay Area’s largest enterprises.

Supporting virtuous conservative values and being community centric never left Mike. Recently, Mike has been leading efforts to combat the "woke" agenda of the San Ramon Valley School District.
